SAVOUR Muskoka's Farm Workshops remain a huge success for all! Participants are becoming more self-reliant and are honing their skills in farming, gardening, cooking, planning and building. You do not have to have any background in these courses (unless "advanced" is specified) and SAVOUR is open to any suggestions for upcoming workshops YOU would like to see being offered. Community education is a key focus for SAVOUR Muskoka and we offer classes to everyone. Kids in the kitchen, draft horses, planning your vegetable garden and planting garlic are some fine examples of the things you can learn about: however, our workshops have NO limits when it comes to learning. Our facilitator/teachers are all top in their trades and to tantilze you further, all of our classes include a wonderful "tasting" of local foods prepared by local chefs! It IS so worth coming for more reasons than one! We are able to offer these workshops at very affordable rates thanks to the assistance of The TRILLIUM Foundation: an Ontario Funder who believes in bettering community. We have Full Bursaries to offer as well, so if you really want to take a course, there will be nothing stopping you!
